Helsinki.
We had to take some gear with us to Helsinki because from there we fly to Erfurt Germany to do the Wetten Das TV show. When we checked into the airport in Gothenburg we were overweight by 230 Kilos which means paying an additional $2,300.00 Euro for excess baggage. But we were flying on Finnair and they told us they would cover the cost since we were playing in Finland. Thanks from all the band. When we arrived in Helsinki, the band went to the hotel to get some rest but the crew had to go right to The Hesinki Ice Hall and start setting up. They didn’t get to the hotel until after the show. Usually the Ice Hall is a hockey arena but tonight the ice was covered. It was surprisingly warm there. The bar was full of fans until close to the time we went on so everyone in the crowd was ready to rock. Thanks Helsinki for a great night. We want to come back – next time maybe in the summer?

Thanks for a great show and the warm speaches as well. We had a great time with my sister and I sure hope you come back to Finland again. Even though the arena was not full, those of us there simply loved it since it gave us the chance to feel at home :-) Kevin: your charisma and your singing voice are a great asset to an excellent band but I also have to compliment the violinist: wonderfuul energy. I loved his attitude!

It was marvelous to see you in Helsinki, my home town. Too bad you couldn’t come down from the stage to greet us after the gig :) but I do get that also you wanted to see the hockey game and you surely were pleased about the result. Kevin, you should invite all guys of the band to come down after encores. Fortunately I bought your new CD before the gig. It was sold out later.
Anyway the concert was great! Maybe some day you will come and admire the midnight sun.

What a wonderful consert!!!! This consert gave me SO much positive energy that I can see light at the end of the tunnell again…( we have had some worries with our 11 years old son´s epilepsy).
I loved all the songs and my Canadien (Calgary) husband enjoyed it,too!

Your gig in Helsinki wasn’t quite what I expected, it was more! Lot’s more! And I’m hungry for more! I drove about two and half hours, alone, to Helsinki in that shitty weather to see you guys and it was worth it :) it was pitty that there were so few people beacuse of the hockeygame, but you still managed to lift and keep the atmosphere high. And I hope Kevin stands behind his words about coming to Finland again. Maybe in Turku this time..? ;) All I got to say is that the gig was awesome and I really want KCMW to come back to Finland somewhere in near future :)

In spite of quite small attendance, the old and shabby Helsinki IceHall and lots of wet snow everywhere, we had a wonderful evening. Thank You Kevin Costner & Modern West and also Sara Beck for the magnificent Concert with warm atmosphere!
I believe, that many Finns agree me, when wishing to see You soon in Finland again. Many of us know You as the Filmstar and produser, but never heard, that You are singin (with the band) and that You were visiting Finland.
All the best to Your Tour in Europe and warmly wellcome again to Finland!
P.S. The more I listen to the new cds, the better they sound.
